  • Assume a leadership role with external partners (marketing agencies) to design and plan demand generation campaigns on different channels (digital, outbound telemarketing, events).

We are looking for a Marketing Manager.As a member of the management team, and under the direction of the Vice President, your responsibilities will be carried out on multiple, concurrent projects, involving a number of activities to expand and enhance our clients monitoring capabilities.Your contributions and responsibilities could include:
  • Understand the buyer - be the expert on our current and potential customers, their competitive landscape, their pain points, their buying journey, their personas and their criteria.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our market, segments, ideal customer profiles and work with the sales team to continuously improve our awareness, visibility and positioning.
  • Marketing Strategy - Convert the strategic marketing plan into an action plan for our products and services, including key activities.
  • Marketing Budget - Manage and be accountable for a marketing budget (including salaries) of $700k per year.
  • Team Management - Manage the day-to-day activities of approximately 10 resources (marketing agency employees) and be accountable for results.
  • Responsible for the Go-to-Market plan, defining our unique and value-added value proposition at each stage of the customer journey.
  • Co-develop and co-execute integrated plans with our partners and marketing agencies that drive demand, pipeline and signings.
  • Liaise with the IBM Enablement team to ensure that supports are efficient and effective for both customers and the SIA sales team.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards and reports to provide clear insight into marketing trends and activities.
  • Use analytics to adapt, learn and grow faster: develop sales strategies with our internal team to promote additional growth with a focus on subscription retention and renewal rates.
As a member of our expanded Management and Support team, you will play a key role in helping our clients deliver solutions that will enable the digital business to thrive.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Youve done it before. Minimum of 6 years of B2B marketing experience in an IT/technology/XaaS services company.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, planning and executing go-to-market activities in the B2B or XaaS product/service marketing space.
  • Extensive experience in building audience segments and developing B2B campaigns in the IT/technology/XaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in a technology firm reselling products and services.
  • Relevant experience in the management of marketing projects and marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing B2B demand generation campaigns in the North American market.
  • Experience with managing operational marketing budgets (minimum 150k annually excluding salaries).
  • Experience with managing co-marketing programs with suppliers/manufacturers (preferably in the technology field).
  • Strong storytelling skills.
  • High level of digital literacy and knowledge of emerging technologies such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to anticipate and work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, good tolerance for unpredictable situations and tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, active profiles, and experience with paid campaign platforms and analytic metrics on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing, communications, administration or computer science, or a related field.
  • Bilingualism and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Creative and commercial writer, exceptional attention to detail, commitment to delivering high quality work, comfortable presenting in front of an audience, natural communicator.
  • Expert at popularizing complex technical concepts and ideas, and turning them into clear, concise and compelling narratives, to communicate with potential customers, partners and market influencers.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
