It is privately held and has achieved high double digit annual growth and profitability since its inception.Job DescriptionReporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Merchandise Coordinator will act as a liaison between vendors, suppliers and the company, ensuring all aspects of merchandise logistics run smoothly. He/She will be responsible for coordinating merchandise shipments and deliveries, as well as optimizing these processes. The ideal candidate is an efficient planner who is adept at developing and maintaining successful cross-functional relationships.Responsibilities

  • Ensure SSENSE purchase orders are prioritized within our supplier delivery windows
  • Collaborate with vendors to enforce delivery windows and report discrepancies when required
  • Identify the best shipping methods and carriers based on transport costs and estimated shipping time
  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the buying teams, coordinating weekly repeats and returns to ensure quick turnaround time
  • Monitor and communicate inventory levels to internal teams
  • Perform data entry as required
Qualifications
  • Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field
  • A Minimum of 2 years experience in a logistics environment, import logistics preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Good written and verbal communications skills in both English and French
