  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in the mine.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure safe and continuous operations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to plan and execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and French, ensuring clear understanding and coordination with colleagues and management.
Qualifications:
  • Red Seal Certification as a Millwright.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Previous experience in mine maintenance or heavy industrial settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
  • Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
