With a strong medicines pipeline our current transformation will not just deliver growth for our business but continue to allow us to bring innovative medicines to patients quickly.As the Portfolio National Education Manager you maximize portfolio performance and competitiveness by leading the field scientific education needs for the portfolio management department. Create the framework and training necessary for the territory level development and implementation of the tactical plans, identifying opportunities and ensuring strategic and timely customers insights. Tailor educational needs according to provincial dynamics to deliver sales volume of >$500300M TSA across a portfolio of brands in diverse but specialized T.A.s (Retina, Resp, Immunology, neuro and oncology). Be the scien-tific & product knowledge expert and reference for Field Team. Accountable for strong excellence in execution. They are experts in performance optimization, capability building and change management. Responsible for the design and development of comprehensive programs for learning, training, and development supporting a broad range of the commercial field team’s capability building.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and development of comprehensive programs for learning, training, and development supporting a broad range of the commercial field team’s capability building. Design continuous upskilling and reskilling interventions (in person, virtual and digital) that prepare the Field Teams to perform now and be future-ready and in turn to drive business growth
  • Design learning interventions that have clearly defined goals, measurable outcomes, practical applications and on-going value and relevance. Roll out continuous digital learning content that supports new, agile ways of working and just-in-time training. Apply adult learning techniques and blended delivery methods
  • Drive learning transfer by ensuring the active and effective engagement of FLMs in the transfer process. Ensures pull-through by tracking relevant metrics/ KPIs
  • Work with agencies, where needed, to design learning programs respecting all necessary regulations
  • Act as key reference for disease state & product knowledge across all Portfolio therapeutic fields and support the design & implementation of HCP Learning Activities for the Field Team
  • Develop, maintain and foster business relationships with key customers externally and internally
  • Lead the planning of the national meetings and cycle meetings
  • Responsible for on boarding new field associates

  • B.Sc in Health Sciences, M.Sc an asset. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 2 years as a sales representative and 2 years in sales training/management or marketing. Preferred experience in 2 of the promoted therapeutic areas, minimum of 1.
  • Results-oriented. Experience managing portfolio of brands is preferred. Ability to make new relationships and show impact quickly.
  • Demonstrate advanced communication skills (verbal and written), active listening, solid presentation and facilitation skills. Confident in coaching, giving and receiving feedback.
  • Strong scientific background and ability to learn new areas fast and vulgarize & prioritize complex content into simple & impactful messaging
  • Prior account management, Sales training, Brand Management, Patient Support Program experience an asset
  • English: fluent spoken & written, French: fluent spoken, (written is an asset)
