Job Description

We are:CGI’s manufacturing practice in Quebec brings the latest manufacturing technologies to life using design thinking, agile development methodologies, and the latest smart tech for solutions when it comes to automation and AI. From customer relationship management (CRM) systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), manufacturing execution system (MES), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to business intelligence (BI) and others, solutions are a mainstay, driving countless functions within large businesses.As the number of solutions – and the complexity of each – expands, it has become difficult for internal IT teams to manage their backlogs. Thanks to CGI, enterprises are preventing these backlogs – and the user-dissatisfaction, interruptions and other inefficiencies those backlogs caused – by outsourcing through our Application Maintenance Service (AMS) offer their monitoring, management, bug-fixing and optimization tasks for those solutions.You are:Using your know-how, creativity, and analytical powers to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable leading projects and teams as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring a variety of solutions.You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with both practitioners and CGI leadership to identify, build and execute new strategies, AMS methodologies to meet industry standards.Work:

  • Plan and execute transition of customers into the Modern AMS service offering
  • Drive end-to-end customer engagement by delivering insights across flexible economic models that align cost to consumption, delivery to realized outcomes and engagement accountability to a truly collaborative partnership
  • Lead delivery teams to ensure quality delivery of services, enhance customer satisfaction, define, and advance performance metrics (KPIs), escalation management, provide feedback to team & drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Set up and lead effective governance and program management office processes to manage the solution, decision making, deliverables, stage gates, schedule, resources, and costs
  • Monitor and manage team goals and performance and ensure team understands how they align and relate to broader business goals and strategies
  • Deep-dive existing and potential problem areas, develop and communicate corrective action and mitigation plans, and drive follow-through to successful resolution. Be hands-on when needed to help your team solve problems and get through crunch periods
Here’s what you need:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Application Maintenance (AMS) /Service Operations Program delivery, execution, and management
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in one of the following: SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics or other ERP, CRM, MES or WMS
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience leading client facing global delivery teams to achieve SLA, KPI’s in a modern managed service Model
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience
  • Must be fully fluent in French and English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bonus Points If:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Automation, Machine Learning, or Intelligent enterprise operations
  • Multiple agile DevOps engagements
  • Familiar with futuristic solutions and roadmaps
