Job Description

Are you a bilingual (English and French) student or a recent graduate eager to immerse yourself in product design and artificial intelligence Join the Alexa Translations A.I. team as a Product Designer Intern and help shape the future of translation technology. This is a full-time position offering hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of designers, engineers, and product managers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Collaboration: Work closely with our product designers to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features and improvements.
  • Researchamp; Analysis: Assist in researching user needs, market trends, and competitor products to inform design decisions and contribute to user-centered design solutions.
  • User Testing: Help coordinate and organize user testing sessions, gather feedback, and analyze results to drive design improvements.
  • Design Documentation: Support the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including user interface specifications and design systems.
  • Team Contribution: Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute creative ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Metrics Tracking: Assist in tracking and analyzing design metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and updates.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Figjam, Maze Design, and Dovetail.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on projects.
  • Passion for technology and an interest in artificial intelligence and the translation industry.
