Supported by a large community of medical experts and focused on clinical success and patient safety, MEDFAR was the first company to certify a cloud-based Electronic Medical Record in Canada: MYLE (Make Your Life Easy).Committed to promoting excellence and effectiveness in healthcare worldwide, MEDFAR differentiates itself by offering a unique healthcare management solution for clinics, which replaces inefficient processes with a faster and safer technological alternative.Job DescriptionAs a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Product Owner, you will have the opportunity to shape the growth of our product line - MYLE, the first certified, web-based, cloud-hosted Electronic Medical Record (EMR).The SaaS Product Owner collaborates with product development leaders and stakeholders to translate the product strategy into a backlog of prioritized features and documents them using detailed mockups and user stories. The position also acts as a scrum master for the development team by enabling the team to self-organize, removing roadblocks, and fostering an environment for high-performance team dynamics, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement.Reporting to the Chief of R&D and Innovation, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the creation and refinement of an ecosystem surrounding a best-in-class electronic medical record.Main Responsibilities

  • Support the business strategy by forming a backlog of features, mockups, and user stories for development and customer-facing teams.
  • Articulate requirements for each user story with detailed acceptance criteria by reviewing test plans, automated test results or, if necessary, contributing to manual testing efforts.
  • Deliver planned developments according to a roadmap through effective management of backlog, testing, documentation, etc.
  • Work collaboratively and use best practices with customer-facing teams to support backlog refinement, sprint planning and long-term release planning.
  • Effectively use data and information from multiple sources to benefit the business and our users.
  • Seek to improve product and development team processes through the use of retrospectives.
Qualifications
  • Background in engineering, design, product marketing, management, UX, product analytics or any other related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience managing high-tech product development as a product manager in the SaaS platform space.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in organizations and projects using agile development methods.
  • 1 tp 3 years of experience creating documentation for communication with diverse audiences.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of French is an asset.
