Position OverviewNumber of Positions: 1Language: Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.Work Model: HybridAdditional Information: The work location for this role is flexible to Mississauga, Guelph, Burlington, Regina, Montreal, Quebec and Moncton.A Sr. Project Manager will be considered depending on the knowledge and experience of the candidate.Our Business Intelligence team empowers decision making using leading edge science and analytics. We champion a scientific culture through our passion for continuous learning, diversity and innovation.We strive to deliver a single version of truth, by providing our business partners with access to comprehensive data and valuable insights to help our organization achieve operational excellence. As the Project Manager you will be a key stakeholder in the delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives. You will apply project management methodologies and disciplines while overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and working with various business units to achieve results.What you’re responsible for:

  • Applying project management best practices to deliver the project charter, status reports and post implementation reviews, while managing schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of project management methods, techniques, processes and practices through active participation in Project Manager (PM) practice meetings and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Integrating change management activities, negotiating with key project stakeholders, and chairing project meetings.
  • Establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with all project stakeholders, including communicating plans and providing status updates to the BI leadership team.
  • Participating in the planning process to align objectives with organizational priorities and maximize resource utilization and results.

To join our team:
  • You have five years of experience in a BI, Information or Business Systems profession or equivalent business experience, including three years of leadership experience.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • You have or are actively working towards the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
  • You have strong knowledge of project management practices and methodologies and successful project life cycle experience, including business systems expertise.
  • Having the Scrum Master certification is an asset.
