Group Corwik, a Montreal based fashion wholesale apparel company with North American and International customers is searching for a QC Specialist. Our QC department is rapidly growing making it a fast paced and exciting environment with tremendous growth potential. Reporting to the QC Manager, the specialist will be responsible to perform and assist in routine inspections and quality testsKey Responsibilities: - Perform random inspection and quality tests on products to ensure it meets all required specifications.- Maintain records of tests and audits and ensuring that any and all defects are communicated/flagged to manager/supervisor in order to address the issue immediately and propose corrective solution.- To aid in all aspects of QC activities related to internal or external audits.- Ensure effective and efficient communication between the QC department and administrative staff.- Assisting/supporting process improvements and immediately flagging any and all aspects that deter from process.- Pro-actively assist team members, managers and employees as needed.- Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: - Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality control/assurance field in the garment import /apparel industry.- Strong English written and oral communication skills.- Be able to work autonomously and be a team player.- Strong attention to detail.- Highly organized and pro-active- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.- Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)- Knowledge of garment and fabric construction, terminology, measurements and workmanship.- Knowledge and experience in bulk sample inspection and comment.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
