  • Management of a bench of IT Professionals
  • Work directly with IT Consultants and their leadership teams in supporting the staffing of professionals to ICT projects
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of skills within the bench of IT professionals, and ensure that our delivery teams stay ahead of changing technology requirements
  • Optimization of Resource Utilization
  • Maintain clear and concise view of resource requirements, and availability
  • Actively work with the consulting leadership team to ensure that they have a detailed understanding of their active and upcoming portfolio of projects
  • Develop and maintain Workforce Management Models to ensure that resources are utilized at targeted rates, make recommendations to improve utilization rates as required
  • Forecasting of resource requirements and financial results
  • Develop and maintain models for forecasting resource requirements and financial results within the Consulting business
  • Based on forecast models, make recommendations on how to improve performance
  • Participate in governance process for hiring of new IT Professionals to fulfill requirements
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:The successful candidate must have/be:
  • Experience in a workforce management or staffing office environment
  • Business and finance acumen (i.e. understanding of project financial data and business case development)
  • Proven ability to manage and develop clear, concise strategies, justify investment recommendations and interact with senior management
  • Creative problem solver, strategic thinker with the ability to work with ambiguity
  • Excellent analytical skills including:
    • The ability to effectively mine source data
    • The ability to quantify and analyze performance data
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver results working with direct and virtual, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (clear, precise written and verbal communications), comfortable presenting in front of audiences with the ability to present to all functional levels including executives
  • Team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displaying a high sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
  • A university degree in finance, business, or related field
  • A preference for experience in a Technology or Consulting environment
  • Previous leadership experience is an attractive asset
  • Superb MS Office skills, particular excellence in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Data Mining and forecasting experience
