Job Description

Guarana is a startup specializing in the development of mobile apps for other startups. We have built around 300 apps in the last 8 years and acquired millions of users through them.In order to consolidate our team, were looking for a driven, autonomous person with a focus on project management and software development to join our team. The mission is mainly associated with our development team. A client and user experience component is attached to the mission to help in the conception of innovative solutions.The position is located in Montreal.www.guarana.ioDescription

  • Management and tracking of development schedules
  • Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks
  • Drive engineering team to integrate their deliverables and schedules into the project
  • Communicating status and the big picture to the project team, management and clients
  • Project risk assessment
  • Manage relationship with clients
  • Clearly articulate, track, and drive project objectives in a dynamic
  • Understanding of project management methods and principles
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external resources
  • Ensure that timelines are met
  • Ensure that each phase of product development process is carefully managed and adhered to
  • Bachelor degree level preferred
  • Experience with Project Management and Scrum methodology
  • Previous experience in the coordination of software
  • You are motivated, driven, and passionate. You are calm under pressure and optimistic.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are innovative. Your written and verbal communication skills - including the ability to listen and distill - are top-tier. Decisiveness is key, as is the ability to weigh the opinions of others. You can confidently make decisions.
  • English mandatory. French is a plus.
