This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our finance team, work alongside passionate individuals, and be a key player in a growing industry.What You’ll Do:As our Senior Accountant, you’ll have a hands-on role in shaping the financial landscape of Sahah Naturals. In this position, you’ll be working closely with the Controller, ensuring our accounting and financial reporting processes are seamless and efficient. You’ll take on a range of exciting challenges, including:

  • Oversee and ensure day-to-day accounting activities are operating efficiently and effectively with guidance from the Controller.
  • Leading the preparation of Monthly and Annual Financial Statements, providing insightful analysis and reporting that drives our growth.
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, overseeing invoice processing, reconciliation, and ensuring timely payments
  • Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice generation, customer submissions, and follow-ups
  • Collaborating across departments to support business decisions with top-notch financial reporting.
  • Taking charge of GST/QST filings, ensuring they are accurate and always on time.
  • Tackling accounting discrepancies head-on, solving problems, and continuously improving processes.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects that push you to innovate and make an impact.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A degree in accounting (or equivalent), with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A CPA designation (or working towards it) is a big plus.
  • Strong command of the full accounting cycle and experience with QuickBooks Desktop (or similar software).
  • Excel and Google Suite proficiency, with an eye for detail and a love for organizing complex information.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, whether working independently or as part of a dynamic team.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/French) to effectively collaborate in our diverse team.
  • A passion for the health food industry and a genuine interest in the work we do!
