We value teamwork, organization, and passion.Job DescriptionOur Agency is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SEO Manager to join our team! This role requires both technical and content SEO expertise to continuously improve the experience of our customers. Reporting to the Director of Production, the SEO Manager will work with internal teams across marketing, development, and design as well as external partners to achieve business objectives for our clients.Responsibilities:

  • Meet and present creative concepts for strategies to potential and existing clients.
  • Develop SEO strategies for clients based on keyword research, competitor analysis, technical factors, current rankings, and many other factors that lead to developing a successful SEO strategy.
  • Build out content plans to increase the chances of client websites generating organic traffic.
  • Prepare technical audits for client websites to evaluate their overall “technical competency” (page speed, canonicals, redirect chains, crawling/indexing issues, URL parameters, etc.).
  • Analyze website analytical data and search trends to help make recommendations to boost organic traffic.
  • Coordinate with the content marketing team to optimize onsite content, blogs, and other assets for search engines.
  • Work on a range of client accounts at the same time, often juggling various projects and deadlines.
  • Keep up to date with all industry trends, insights, topics and best practices.
  • Manage the SEO team and support the coordination of projects.
  • Responsible for delivering results for all of our clients.
  • Demonstrating a proactive attitude towards SEO strategies and campaign results.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in an SEO marketing role (preferably in an agency environment)
  • 3+ years of proven managerial experience
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and make impactful recommendations
  • Career-driven, self-motivated and focused on growing within an established marketing agency by bringing new ideas & strategies to the table
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong track record of managing resources, including budgets
  • Strong English writing for client communication (a must) and French writing (an asset)
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Familiar with basic web development technologies (HTML, Javascript, and CSS) is a plus
SEO Tool Requirements:
  • Advanced analytical skills using Google products: Search Console, Tag Manager, Analytics, Data Studio, etc.
  • High proficiency with SEO Tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Experience with Content Managements systems such as WordPress, Shopify and Magento
  • Familiarity with Asana is a plus
