  • Perform cleaning of the common areas daily, including garages and grounds, complete litter pick up throughout.
  • Assist with identifying and reporting to the building Operations / Resident Manager deficiencies that require repair.
  • Cleaning of vacant units, a component of the unit turnover preparedness as directed by the building Operations / Resident Manager. Identify and report to the Operations Manager / Resident Manager deficiencies requiring repair.
  • Assist with necessary safety precautions, as required, during inclement weather by shovelling, sanding, salting sidewalks and cleaning / mopping of building entrances.
  • Assist with daily review of building security by checking doors, locks and lights. Advise Operations Manager / Resident Manager of required repairs.
  • Maintain cleaning logs.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage room and office area at all times.
  • Maintain par stock cleaning supplies, and complete regular inventories. Communicate the need to order supplies as necessary to ensure the proper operation of the property.
  • Clean up area in which repairs were performed and remove any debris.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, litter pick up, replenishing supplies, etc.
  • Assist with minor seasonally adjusted landscaping duties (watering of flower beds and planters as required).
  • Complete daily waste and recycling duties, including the safe operation of equipment hauling machinery and maintain a positive working relationship with City collectors or contracted vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A passion for excellence in customer service delivery.
  • Ability to resolve resident issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service, organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances.
