You will want to work for Dana because we have developed an industry reputation for exceptional cuisine and excellent customer service.We are looking for a Social Media and Engagement Coordinator to join our team in Montreal, QC at our McGill unit. This is a pivotal role within our team and the successful candidate will be looking to build engagement with our customers while sharing what makes Dana unique in the culinary industry.As our Social Media Coordinator you will be responsible for…

  • Running the social media accounts for our Dana – McGillUniversity unit, which can include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and any other applicable social media platforms for the café, residence, and quick service locations
  • Attend client meetings
  • Work with members of the Dana team (both locally and remotely) to collect and create social media content to populate the applicable handle with engaging, relevant, and value-added material
  • Creating brand awareness and engagement with guest’s using messaging that maintains and promotes the Dana brand behaviours of create, relate, and innovate
  • Act as a student liaison; gauging customer satisfaction, and collecting feedback and ideas
  • Working with the unit staff as well as operation support to understand unit goals and how social media can play a part in achieving said goals
  • Respond to questions, inquiries, and suggestions on our handles to meet corporate customer service and satisfaction requirements
  • Promoting marketing initiatives and providing various reports to highlight areas of strength and potential areas for further development
  • Taking pictures and documenting events/processes to be used in future promotional pieces
  • Gauging customer response to café offerings and respond to customer inquiries while maintaining the “voice” of Dana
  • Ad-hoc projects that relate to the Dana social media and café team
  • Create and analyze reports and analytics regarding digital and social medical engagement and share findings and suggestions with the McGill Communications & Marketing team
We are looking for someone who has...
  • Experience working in social media engagement, with knowledge of various social media platforms.
  • Organized with a high attention to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Personable and engaging, quick to make friends and build positive relationships
  • Strong awareness of campus social life, culture, and what engages students
  • Curiosity and passion surrounding food, and the customer experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English and French
  • Experience in graphic design programs (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign) as well as Photography and mobile apps
  • Ability to spontaneously create polished content with mobile devices or future use on other social medial platforms
