Job Description

English will followSommaireRelevant du chef d’équipe – Risques commerciaux, le Souscripteur - Risques commerciaux ou la Souscriptrice – Risques commerciaux aura comme principales tâches de souscrire et de desservir les renouvellements ainsi que les nouvelles affaires.Principales responsabilités

  • Souscrire et desservir les renouvellements selon les lignes directrices des différents programmes et contrats.
  • Développer, souscrire et desservir les nouvelles affaires conformément aux lignes directrices des différents programmes et contrats ou en tant que grossiste.
  • Développer des liens d’affaires avec les courtiers existants.
  • Assurer la liaison entre les courtiers et les assureurs afin de négocier et déterminer les conditions d’assurances.
  • Représenter la compagnie lors d’événements de l’industrie, selon les besoins.
Profil recherché
  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en assurance.
  • Français avancé et anglais fonctionnel.
  • Détenir un permis de courtage, PAA, AEC, un atout
  • SigXp, ComXp, Guidewire, un atout
  • Adaptation et flexibilité face au changement
  • Capacité relationnelle
  • Débrouillardise
  • Capacité d’analyse

*****SummaryReporting to the Commercial risks Team Leader, the Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting and handling renewals and new business.Main responsibilities
  • Underwrite and handle renewals within the guidelines of the various programs and contracts.
  • Develop, underwrite and handle new business within the guidelines of the various programs and contracts or as a wholesaler.
  • Develop business relationships with existing brokers.
  • Act as a liaison between brokers and insurers to negotiate and determine insurance terms and conditions.
  • Represent the company at industry events as required.
Profile
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance
  • Advanced French and functional English
  • Brokerage license, CIP, CEA, an asset
  • SigXp, ComXp, Guidewire, an asset
  • Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change
  • Relational skills
  • Resourcefulness
  • Analytical skills
