Job Description

English will follow SommaireRelevant du Chef d’équipe, transport, le Souscripteur ou la Souscriptrice aura comme principales tâches de souscrire les demandes tout en veillant à ce que la qualité des risques souscrits soit adéquate afin d’atteindre la rentabilité maximum recherchée.Principales responsabilités

  • Analyser les risques soumis et évaluer la pertinence des protections demandées;
  • Accepter ou refuser les risques selon le niveau d’autorité;
  • Souscrire et négocier les conditions des renouvellements, des nouvelles affaires et des modifications;
  • Interpréter et appliquer les différentes règles de souscription;
  • Faire le suivi et facturer les polices.
Profil recherché
  • Expérience en assurance dans le secteur du transport, un atout
  • Détenir un diplôme en assurance, un atout
  • Bilinguisme, Français et Anglais, requis afin d’assurer un service à la clientèle bilingue
  • Connaissance de Guidewire, un atout
  • Curiosité
  • Habileté à analyser et synthétiser
  • Autonomie, rigueur et jugement
  • Gestion des priorités

*******SummaryReporting to the Team Leader, Transport, the Underwriters main tasks will be to underwrite requests while ensuring that the quality of the risks underwritten is adequate in order to achieve the maximum profitability sought.Main responsibilities
  • Analyze the risks submitted and assess the relevance of the protections requested;
  • Accept or decline risks according to ones level of authority;
  • Subscribe and negotiate the terms of new business, renewals and modifications;
  • Interpret and apply the different subscription rules;
  • Track and bill policies.
Profile
  • Insurance experience in the Transport sector, an asset
  • Have an insurance diploma, an asset
  • French and English required to ensure bilingual customer service
  • Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
