In recruiting for our team, we welcome the unique contributions that you can bring in terms of your education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation, beliefs, experiences, and more.BDC’s IT department has been digitally evolving to meet new & future technology needs of the bank and as such the IT Performance Office is seeking a Specialist, IT Hardware Asset Management to join our team.The IT Asset Management (ITAM) team is responsible for the management of hardware and software technology assets, which includes optimizing the value and cost of technology assets while mitigating the risks these assets present to the organization throughout their life.This is done by establishing an effective technology life cycle that spans from technology asset selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, all the way through the retirement and disposal of the asset.Reporting to the Manager, IT Asset & Vendor Performance you will be enabled to enhance & optimize the hardware portfolio through building an effective, efficient Asset Management framework ensuring that technology investments or services are being strategically leveraged and are achieving their ROI.Your portfolio will consist of Endpoints and edge devices, HAM vendors, on-premises data center assets, cloud services, telecom, and wireless assets.You will lead the ongoing ServiceNow implementation for ITAM, and a CMDB, and participate in the development of digital workflows between cross functional teams and define the intake & request management aspects.Assist the various teams in navigating the operationalization & lifecycle of assets, services, contracts & vendors required within the IT function to support the broader BDC Transformation.Foster strong relationship management practices, lead cost savings initiatives, and identify technology modernization, automation & consolidation opportunities within your portfolio, aligned with architecture roadmaps.Report on, and manage key KPIs, for physical & digital assets via (ServiceNow dashboard) and contribute to vendor performance management reviews.Key Responsibilities (but not limited to the following)
