Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the Transportation Supervisor ensures the smooth running of the transportation department and its various branches (marine, air, pricing). He/she ensures the execution of processes that bring together internal and external stakeholders and sees to it that they run smoothly in order to provide outstanding customer service.Thanks to his extensive knowledge in the transportation field, he knows how to maintain a healthy management of operations and thus create an environment conducive to the well-being and development of employees.Main Responsabilities & Tasks :

  • Supervise the tasks and performance of team members
  • Supervise the quality of work and verify the integrity of the company’s data
  • Train new team members on company standards, customer service and tasks
  • Strictly adheres to deadlines by communicating expectations to team members
  • Connect with customers and develop strong relationships to ensure customer retention.
  • Create an atmosphere focused on a superior customer service culture.
  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of the company’s industry and sector
  • Provide technical support and information to team members
Required Skills :
  • Bilingual English-French
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Good stress management skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of files on a daily basis
  • Focused on problem solving
  • Autonomous and resourceful
  • CIFFA or other certification in logistics
