As part of the System Administration team, you will be part of the Tier 3 Unix server support team.As part of an agile system team, you will be responsible for implementing the CIS Benchmark security recommendations on our Unix operating system (Red Hat / CentOs).Technical StackRED HAT | CENTOS | PUPPET | ANSIBLE | PYTHON | GIT | IDMWhat will be your day-to-day workYou will focus on implementing the CIS Benchmark recommended operating system hardening on the Unix operating system.Once you begin working on the project, your day-to-day job will be to define the best strategy for implementing the remediation. This will require you to work closely with our vulnerability management team who will assist you.Once the analysis is complete, you will work with the Unix team to implement the security remediation. During this process, you will become familiar with how we manage the infrastructure of our 3,500 servers. Puppet and Ansible are our primary technologies for automation and configuration management.The entire project will be done in two parts: we will start by working on the new operating system, and then apply our tested and implemented remediation to our old environment.If you enjoy digging into security documentation and understanding deep system configuration, this position is for you.In addition to your day-to-day duties, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Ansible and Unix administration in general.We also have a Puppet infrastructure with a very interesting and industrial implementation.
