Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Establish and achieve sales and profit targets for the specified region.
  • Maintain profitable, market-dictated pricing.
  • Make the required number of direct sales calls and sales to obtain desired growth in the Region.
  • Sell the Company’s complete industrial product line to the industry.
  • Work with and improve the distribution network.
  • Provide feedback to AIM management on ways to improve the company’s sales and profit performance.
  • Prepare work reports and forecasts as required.
  • Coordinate sales opportunities with appropriate AIM personnel such as technical support engineers, credit managers, executives, and distributors.
  • Report activity pertaining to identified strategic accounts on a timely basis.
  • Define and provide product requirements to the technical department.
  • Assist with market research.
  • Work with technical support personnel to evaluate materials and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting of products/processes.
  • Identify new applications and opportunities for existing products.
  • Prepare expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Perform training presentations on current and new technologies to customers, distributors, and rep groups.
  • Interface with credit and quality assurance departments as necessary.
  • Attend company sales meetings and industry trade shows.
  • Work closely with assigned Customer Service Representative.
  • Assign tasks to the Customer Service Representative regarding orders and quotes as required
