These services includes health promotions and protection; disease and injury prevention; chronic disease management and prevention; provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; conducting community needs assessments and participation in evaluation projects. Job Qualifications Required QualificationsAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Basic Life Support (BLS)Registered Nurse - Nurse Practitioner Masters ProgramRegistered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)Valid Class 5 driver #39;s licenseExperienceMinimum of three (3) years experience working as a Registered Nurse, with experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting preferred.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to competently use computers and software applications as required by the positionAbility to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and communication with other health care professionalsAbility to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipmentAbility to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary teamCommunication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/adviceComputer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)Interpersonal skillsKnowledge of community developmentLeadership skillsWorking knowledge in health promotionOther InformationField hoursTravel Required Additional Information Will provide visiting services to sites within the service area. Travel Required. Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory or designated holiday is recognized during that period. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
