Grocery Clerk (Full Time) - Jobs in Morden, MB

Key Responsibilities Include:

Provide service excellence to internal and external customers and live the Co-op brand values.
Ensure the Grocery Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is followed at all times, and that close-dated product is handled as per department procedures.
Present a neat, clean, fresh, well-merchandised department and related work areas (sales floor, coolers, freezers, warehouse, etc.)
Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed.
When assigned, oversee part time staff, providing instruction and guidance.
When assigned, be the ‘Supervisor in Charge’ of the grocery department, in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications:

Good oral and written English communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships with a diverse group of individuals at all levels; a team player.
Able to lift 30-50 lbs. and repeated lifting of 20-25 lbs.
Able to stand for extensive periods of time, with extensive amount of walking.
Able to perform extensive repetitive motion (working with hands, repeated lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, etc.)
