Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • This person will be cross trained in multiple departments.
  • This is an excellent role for advancement and development.
The Grocery Supervisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service; ordering and stocking merchandise; merchandising and displaying product; receiving and unloading trucks; assisting with staff supervision; and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.In addition, the supervisor will perform the duties as trained in other departments, including meat, bakery, deli & produce.The Grocery Supervisor will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.Who you are:You are looking for a job in Customer Service and:
  • Are committed to service excellence and are a team player
  • Enjoy working in a diligent manner with attention to detail
  • Are able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Are able to lift up to 50 lbs, with repetitive lifting of 5-35 lbs frequently
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and possess a friendly disposition
  • Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Are available to work a rotation of Saturdays and some evening shifts.
