Job Description

Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is assisting our client who is an Insurance Broker in South-Southwest Manitoba 2 hours from Winnipeg, 50 minutes outside of Carman Manitoba and close to Winkler/Morden.The position requested from our client requires a strong interest in Home Insurance. Preferably level I, II or III CAIB however this is not necessary, just a strong asset.Compensation/Benefits and perks:

  • Rookie salary range $38-42k
  • Level I or higher: Starting at $45,000 or higher depending on experience/ book of business
  • After 1st year matching RSP
  • Health and Dental
  • Insurance-related education, professional development financial support is available
  • Two-person office, hybrid is optional.
  • Full or part-time permanent job
  • NO Autopac, office mainly does Farm, Home, Commercial/Business insurance
  • Most clients are local farmers so being connected to or having farming knowledge a plus
  • Independent work/desk
Duties include:
  • Support and promote insurance products and services that meet client needs
  • Create and produce new insurance policies in an effective and efficient manner
  • Identify client needs and sales opportunities for additional coverages
  • Conduct policy reviews and annual renewals for all lines of insurance
  • Brokerage uses Power Broker
