We are looking for a Panel Operator to join the team at our Mount Forest location!Day Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pmThe Panel Operator mixes dry mix using Repete computerized batching systems to support the production extrusion schedule.About Us…Elmira Pet Products is the largest Canadian Private Label dry pet food manufacturer. What you’ll do:

• Operate and run Repete batching system including editing formulas, selecting bin destination (PLC discharge system) and monitoring batching system for errors.
• Operate hammer-mills to route to the correct shipping bin according to schedule and demand.
• Operate micro scales, premix mixers and computerized turn head to manually weigh premixed for dry mix orders.
• Log work orders into factivity program and QAD
• Monitor and track downtime.
• Actively communicate with Dry Mix Driver to ensure high efficiencies of Mixing Plant and extrusion.
• Perform receipt and back flush work order and ingredient cycle counts on QAD systems.
• Perform maintenance on panel system and equipment as required.
• Dump totes through premix mixers as needed.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning as per schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll have:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift truck and skid steer experience with certificate an asset.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good computer knowledge with ERP system experience (QAD) an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
