Job Description

RothLochston provides industrial construction, maintenance and fabrication services to the oil and gas, mining, and power generation industries throughout Canada. For 25 years, we have worked hard to become an industry leader and preferred partner in the markets we serve.RothLochston is currently recruiting for MCSA Quality Advisors for our project in Voisey’s Bay, NL.Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement ITPs relative to installation of mechanical equipment
  • Implement quality control activities related to onsite installation of mechanical works
  • Ensure Quality requirements are known, understood, and followed within area of responsibility
  • Perform regular inspections and tests and report on findings
  • Ensure assembly and installation records from inspections and tests are being prepared and verified
  • Ensure project specifications and quality requirements are met
  • Assist in Final documentation review relative to turnover and completions
  • Have an understanding knowledge of all NDT methods and inspections
Qualified Individuals should have the following:
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, regulatory requirements for welding/certification requirements
  • CWB Level 2 Inspector Certificate W178.2
  • Endorsement for ASME B31.3, CSA W59, CSA 47.1
  • API 650 Storage of Fuel Tanks
  • Have an understanding knowledge of all NDT methods and inspections
  • 10 years’ plus experience in the mechanical system installation
  • Development and implementation of Inspection and Test plans
