As such, we welcome talented individuals that have a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and industry experience who will contribute to the success of our One Parkland team.Position Title: Operations Supervisor Team and Location: Commercial – Nanaimo, BC Position Summary:The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the Branch with respect to centralized support services (service coordination, lube inventory, dispatch administration, procurement). We are looking for an individual who will take pride in the centralized support services and will work to build the business and operate it in a safe and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:Supervision of staff including hiring, performance managementamp; salary recommendations.Ensures the facility and its employees are complying with all safety procedures set by the company.Customer service – ensuring our customers (external and internal) always get the best possible service, and conducting field site visits to build and maintain our customer relationships.Site Maintenance – working with contractors when required.Store stock control – ensuring inventory levels are kept at an appropriate level (lubricants).Office Administration – completing reports as required by head office.Month end close procedures of products/services in scope.Oversee process of accepting payments and cash handling.Perform basic sales functions.All other duties as required.Qualifications and Skills:Previous experience supervising employees.Industry experience an asset.Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).JDE experience an asset but training will be provided.Must have a valid license and abstract in good standing.Good communication skills both written and verbal.Strong time management and attention to detailGood customer service skills.Safety oriented.Must be able to travel and work after hours when required.We Offer:Our Performance-based Annual Incentive Plan, an annual bonus awarding your performance.A share in our success through the Employee Share Purchase Plan and 100% company matching.A flexible group benefit plan that offers health and dental coverage choices to meet the needs of each unique employee.
