  • Responsible for day to day activities related to the accounting and reporting of a new open-ended private equity fund administered internally
  • Work directly with internal and external teams including, but not limited to validate corporate level activity, monthly subscription activity, promote calculations, management fee calculations, NAV allocations, liquidity forecasting, and corporate G amp;A
  • Assist with the review of the 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings
  • Partner with others across the firm to strike the NAV
  • Responsible for quarterly close of BX deliverables
  • Assist with the preparation of accounting policy memos for new transactions and analyze new accounting standards to determine impact on the fund
  • Prepare/review financial information included in investor letters, flash reports and pitch books
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
Qualifications:
  • BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required
  • CPA license is preferred
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience
  • Experience with public companies, open-ended fund, the private equity estate industry, and/or retail fund is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Investran experience a plus
  • Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills
  • Ideal candidates would have a commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professional
