Irving, Limited is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Operations Superintendent in Southern New Brunswick. Based in Sussex, this position is accountable for leading and improving daily management of operations to deliver wood at the lowest cost, monitoring contractor health and improvement, and attaining production and inventory targets.Responsibilities:

  • Drive a safety-first culture
  • Coach, train, develop, and lead a team of supervisors to become better business leaders
  • Effectively manage environmental programs
  • Utilize new tools and technology to improve the business
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement
  • Model company values and standards
Experienceamp; Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in forestry, business, engineering, or other related discipline would be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work with teams within and outside of direct control is a must
  • Effective communication style at all levels in the organization
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment
