Job Description

Job Type:RegularOUTLINE OF DUTIES

  • Work in compliance with all safety standards and Good Manufacturing Principles - keeping work area, equipment, and production floors clean, safe, and in compliance with all food safety requirements
  • Monitor and operate the required equipment in the butter making area, such as case packer, printer, etc.
  • Responsible to complete all paperwork, including weight check forms
  • Take samples to be tested for food quality
  • Sanitize and clean production area
  • Regular manual material handling of 25 kg
  • Print product labels and scan into central inventory system for each pallet produced
  • Complete maintenance tasks as required
  • All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant post-secondary education will be considered an asset
  • Experience working with process controls and computer-based systems will be considered an asset
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license and elevated platform or scissor lift training
  • Previous experience in a food production environment will be considered and asset
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Team player
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to work at heights
  • Must have the ability to exercise good judgment and work in a safe manner
  • The right candidate should be flexible and looking to advance to Operator # 1
