Job Description

Greenlight Innovation is the industry leader in fuel cell testing and manufacturing equipment. We are working closely with our customers to develop the next generation of hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyser technology.We are hiring a Custodian to work with the facilities team to ensure our offices and light manufacturing areas are kept safe, clean, and sanitized where necessary. This is a regular part-time role of 16 to 20 hours a week Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a variety of cleaning services, including monitoring and occasional trash pick-up from exterior.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces, bathrooms, and fixtures.
  • Dust and wash surfaces, sweep, and mop hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper dispensers, etc.
  • Operate cleaning equipment including vacuum.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience providing cleaning services in an industrial facility.
  • Skilled with effective janitorial methods, procedures, materials, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and precautions related to safety standards and janitorial work.
  • Physically strong and able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
