Job Description

Securiguard is currently looking for enthusiastic Field Manager to join our team!Security Field Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of field staff to ensure high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors, as well as responding to security incidents and managing Securiguard operations. The Security Field Manager will also focus on fostering a positive team environment and maintaining effective communication with clients and management.The Day to Day:

  • Conducts unannounced post inspections to investigate complaints, ensure proper attendance, appearance, report keeping and vehicle operation. Conduct on-site quality assurance inspections as directed by the operations team.
  • Monitor all work activities of staff members, identifying and reporting any issues that could impact service delivery.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Respond to security incidents, provide operational support and guidance to security officers in the field.
  • Foster a positive morale within the department, promoting a team environment and inclusive culture.
  • Communicate client and management expectations effectively, encouraging a team-based approach to problem-solving.
  • Ensure all Security Professionals are adequately trained and prepared, utilizing employee orientation.
  • Liaise with the Operations team and Acts as management #39;s representative outside of normal business hours.
  • Provides regular on-going training for security officers in post, operational and safety topics, and verbal discipline with management input and authorization.
  • Ensure fleet vehicles are maintained and any deficiencies are reported and resolved.
  • Handle officer inquiries and requests, liaising with management for resolution and communicating findings to staff.
What you bring:
  • Possess Valid BC security worker license.
  • Class 5 Driver #39;s License and clean drivers abstract and claims history.
  • Certified First Aid Attendant Level 2 (OFA 2) is an asset.
  • Ability to provide a clean criminal background check.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role and 3 plus years of experience as a security officer/supervisor.
  • Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review, evaluate, recommend changes and/or develop and implement innovative programs as requirements and customer needs change.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, problem solve and consistently make sound, responsible decisions.
  • Computer literacy on Microsoft Office XP, Word, Tracktik, WinTeam required.
  • Must have the skill and ability to conduct and/or support sensitive investigations involving company personnel, assets, and/or proprietary information.
