Job Description

BackgroundKron Technologies is an emerging technology company that has grown from its Kickstarter origins to develop innovative cameras that have disrupted the world of high-speed video cameras. We’re looking for more talented individuals to join us as we design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge imaging products. Our employees enjoy flexibility, freedom, great colleagues, a positive work/life balance, and stimulating technical challenges to solve.We’ve located a short walk from the Production Way/University Skytrain station, and a 5-minute drive from the Highway 1, Gaglardi Way Exit.About the position:You will be working closely with our CEOto complete tasks such as:

  • Implement strategies and initiatives that increase solution and brand awareness while carrying forward Krontech’s mission and vision.
  • Manage daily operations within the Marketing team, provide mentorship to team.
  • Work hands-on with in-house designer to create online and print marketing materials.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain advertising strategies.
  • Work closely with Product Development and Sales managers to continuously improve marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure effective use of marketing budget.
  • Learn about market, channel, and region specific high-speed imaging needs.
  • Create and maintain brand style guides to be used throughout company and by partners.
  • Find and assess conference and trade show opportunities, lead booth design initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, products, value propositions, and tools.
Required qualifications:
  • Post secondary education on business or marketing; or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing.
  • Experience working in a technology or B2B environment.
  • Experience marketing technical hardware and/or software to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics.
Desired qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Wordpress and web design theory.
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
  • Knowledge of cameras and lighting equipment.
Perks, Compensation and Benefits:As a full time employee, you will be compensated on a salary based on experience and skills, between $75,000 to $90,000 a year. You will receive full benefits that include extended health, health and lifestyle spending accounts, RRSP with matching, education allowances, and unlimited paid time off policy.
