Our work environment will provide opportunities for career growth and independence in a fast-paced industry, and our roots as a process-based, lean operation will provide experience in a structured, process driven environment.Our facility can be reached by Skytrain and bike lanes and is located near the Burnaby Lake trail system.Job Description and Responsibilities:This role will start as soon as possible and continue through December 2024, an approximate 7-month contract. The P amp;C Co-op will be supported by the P amp;C Coordinator. Responsibilities include:

  • Process employees’ paperwork and issue letters.
  • Maintain employees’ files, soft and hard copies.
  • Monitor and respond to the HR mailbox.
  • Support onboarding new employees including executing pre-hire tasks, coordinating orientations and trainings, and following up after probation period.
  • Assist with the maintenance of company HRIS and training management system.
  • Assist with coordinating the offboarding process and employee leaves.
  • Assist with internal, external, and co-op recruitment.
  • Support employees with enquiries.
  • Contribute to the Social Committee, Women in Tech Group, and the Equity Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee.
  • Support the ongoing administration of survey administration.
  • Assist in P amp;C projects.
  • Other duties as required.
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00/hour.Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources in progress.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office, SQL, Sage 300, SAP experience an advantage).
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
