We are working closely with our customers to enable the research, development, and commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer technology.We are growing and hiring a Senior Logistics Specialist to prepare finished products, manage, coordinate, and track shipping. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage outbound, inbound and drop shipments, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders to assure shipment readiness before pickup date.
  • Prepare all requested international shipping documents complying with the regulations of the country of origin and destination.
  • Manage the loading of oversized shipments.
  • Handle critical loads using material handling equipment in narrow aisles.
  • Handle hazardous goods like pressurized gas cylinders.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to provide shipment updates and address inquiries.
  • Maintain and update shipment tracking log.
  • Prepare comprehensive bids for logistics service providers, evaluating costs and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation costs, recommending cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.
  • Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of relevant international regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with ERP software, such as SAP or Sage.
  • APICS CLTD or other logistics certification/diploma.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs., experience with power tools and packaging equipment.
  • Computer skills including databases and spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical parts.
