To do this, Vector has a vision of creating a new energy future, which will help to deliver clean, reliable and affordable energy solutions for customers.About the roleIn this role, you #39;ll be a key senior member of our cloud, platformamp; operations team which is responsible for all hosted infrastructure, and deployment operations in Amazon Web Services (AWS), building and operating the platforms we use to deliver reliable and scalable services to our business and other digital teams.You will be responsible to provide technical leadership in design, build, deployment and technical operations of our core infrastructure and systems, including working closely with internal and external resources, scheduling, risk management, system operations, communications, and status reporting.Who we are looking forYou #39;ll bring significant public cloud systems engineering and support experience, combined with solid IT infrastructure admin experience. You #39;re comfortable with automation, installation, administration, monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure technologies in a modern enterprise corporate environment. In addition, you #39;ll have

  • A thorough understanding of server and OS administration - ideally both Windows and Linux
  • Ability to script infrastructure automation and operations tasks
  • AWS and the native AWS frameworks - CloudFormation, Systems Manager etc.
  • Enterprise management tools such as; Commvault, New Relic, FinOps tools, and the like.
  • Kubernetes and containerisation (a plus), but not essential
  • VMware Cloud on AWS including HCX and NSX, you #39;re able to manage the deployment of subnets, virtual machines and firewall policy within the SDDC.
