Senior Costing AnalystLocation: Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA, Markham, Ontario, CanadaPosted: January 29th, 2024Location: Future move to Newmarket, Ontario, Canada in H2 2024Position Overview:Located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford GT Mk IV supercar and the Ford Bronco DR racing truck.Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is seeking to recruit a Senior Costing Analyst that will provide financial insight, analysis, and planning to support decision making and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The analyst will play a pivotal role in the financial oversight of the current programs (GT Mk IV, Bronco DR), as well as in the preparations for future work.The emphasis on the role is on cost management, both cost of goods sold, as well as other costs (freight and other variable costs, labour, overhead, S amp;A, capital, etc.) Must have strong accountingamp; financial technical expertise and an understanding of business processes and operations.Experience managing a bill of materials is required.Automotive enthusiasts preferred.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage (create, update, track, administer, monitor, etc.) the various bills of materials of the manufactured goods, including appropriate allocations (labour, overhead, etc.)Manage the financial aspect of the quality deductions processManage the financial aspect of the shipping chargebacks/charge passthroughs processWork with the logistics and materials team to optimize freight spend and inventory managementManage administration of capital assets of the division, including purchases tracking, reconciliations, and depreciation; as well as working with senior team members on preparation of capital asset proposalsAdminister prepaid expenses, including reconciliationsAdminister various other expenses (labour, overhead, S amp;A, other expenses)Identify cost savings opportunities (including net reductions through offsetting revenue generation, government grants and/or other methods)Analyze and explain variances to divisional managementPerform various reconciliations, both ad hoc and recurring, especially those that impact cost accounts (ex.
