Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Pro Tackle and Hunting Clerk (Home Centre Clerk) at our Home Centre location in Nipawin, SK.Who we are: Lake Country Co-op does business differently. To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our Lake Country Co-op brand to life, visit us at www.lakecountryco-op.crsReporting to the Assistant Hardware Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safetyTo be knowledgeable with firearms, archery, firearm safety, ammunition, fishing merchandise and hunting/fishing licensesTo assist guests on the sales floor with product selection in hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure merchandiseTo order, receive and stock merchandise as assignedTo follow all procedures with relation to sales of firearms and complete all documentation with precisionTo have a good working understanding of the POS systemTo perform day to day duties in the Home Centre and Gas Bar as assignedTo be familiar with all Lake Country Coop Policies and ProceduresPerform other duties as assignedWhy it matters: Our Lake Country Co-op team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do and annual sales of $500 million we help to build, fuel, feed and grow our communities together.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience, have customer service experience and hold a valid P.A.L.You have both firearm and archery knowledge; you have diversified hunting and fishing knowledge; hardware knowledge is an assetYou have a valid driver’s license, are capable of heavy lifting on an ongoing basis, and are willing to obtain forklift operators certificationYou’re well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervisionYou’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you doApplicant must be able to work opening and closing shifts and a weekend rotationOur Lake Country Co-op team members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
