Job Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Sales Agronomist at our Crop Inputs location in Nipawin, SK.Who we are: Lake Country Co-op does business differently.   • Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and values, brand and focus on safety
  • Deliver professional, current and sound agronomic advice and recommendations to producers in a geographic area with a wide variety of crops and soils, including crop protection/crop nutrition information, field scouting and recommendations, soil testing services
  • Administer and carry out an extensive on farm contact program developing customer and supplier relationship
  • Market and distribute crop supply products and farm equipment to new and existing customers
  • Receive, distribute and load fertilizer and crop protection products
  • Maintain environmental compliance
  • Maintain inventory control, ordering and data reporting through in house programming
  • Adhere to all merchandising standards, marketing efforts including pricing, policy and procedure, equipment maintenance, house-keeping and loss prevention policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • You hold an Ag Degree or Diploma and are eligible for membership in the SIA; you have CCA or Pag or equivalent or are willing to obtain
  • You’re well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most
  • You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
  • You are dedicated to outstanding customer service and have a proven track record in agronomy services.
