Job Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Temporary Deli Supervisor (September 25th, 2022 – January 19, 2024) at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.Who we are: Lake Country Co-op does business differently.   • Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vison, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Have familiarity with Deli Department operations and supervise the operational team in their daily duties
  • Properly prepare products to Co-op standard, package and label finished products, maintain production records
  • Maintain and display all types of deli products according to department standards including hot meals
  • Continually monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf: follow FIFO
  • Order, receive, price merchandise, and perform opening and closing procedures as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • You have the ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required including pushing, pulling, crouching and lifting 50-75 pounds occasionally and 10 -20 pounds constantly
  • You have a flexible work schedule; evening and weekend work is required
