This position is in Cargill #39;s agricultural supply chain business, where we seamlessly connect farming customers with food, feed and industry.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Grain Sales Representative will help increase our sales and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels. We seek a professional who will help shape business expansion strategies, providing input for our annual business development plans to reach objectives and revenue.Key Accountabilities- Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.- With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities.- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.- Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.- Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.- Other duties as assigned#LI-YF1QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Diploma/certificate or bachelor #39;s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.- Minimum of two years of related work experience.- Possess a valid Canadian drivers licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of grain and crop input operations and products.- CCA certification or ability to get one.- Sales experience- Experience using customer relationship management software.Position InformationRelocation assistance will be provided (only within Canada)Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet.At Cargill, everyone matters and everyone counts.
