Job Description

Commercial Tire Technician Weyburn, SK Onsite If you have a strong desire to be in the commercial tire industry, have a passion for people, and understand the true value of good customer service, we have an opportunity for you. Kal Tire is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to join our busy team in Weyburn, SK. While using your excellent customer service skills, you will be responsible for providing shop service, off-site fleet service, and on-call roadside assistance after business hours. HOURS: Full Time 32+ hours/weekMonday- Saturday availabilityJob Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform service work on commercial tires and wheels including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installation, reinstallations, and diagnostics.
  • Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear, and overall conditions.
  • Answer service calls to provide tire-related assistance for commercial vehicles stranded on the road.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly professional manner. Listen to their tire-related concerns, provide advice, and recommend appropriate options based on their vehicle type, usage, and budget.
  • Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendations for maintenance and repair.
Job Requirements:
  • A valid Driver’s Licence
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services.
  • You are a self-starter dedicated to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and constructive workplace.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Enjoy creating positive and building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50lbs at shoulder height.
  • Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures
