Job SummaryThe Account Manager will grow sales and increase company profits by cultivating current customers and recruiting new customers. The representative will increase profitability by promoting products, providing technical support and conducting training to new and repeat customers within an assigned territory.Directly report to: Vice President of SalesDuties/Responsibilities:Manage customer relationships and satisfactionGenerate new sales with existing customers and develop opportunities with new customers within assigned territoryUtilize BPM online to ensure that Operations and Management are kept informed on sales, upcoming projects and activity in a timely mannerVisit job sites as needed to measure or provide client servicesGather competitive information and other market information regularly while interacting cooperatively with other members of the sales teamPrepare and present quotationsCollaborate with management, develop and meet sales and training objectives on an annual basisProvide input and assist in development of presentations and other marketing collateral.Create and conduct in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value the company's products/servicesParticipate in trade association functions as requiredParticipate and be active in local industry organizationsPerform other duties as assignedEmployees Safety Responsibilities:Be familiar with and work in accordance with health and safety legislation and company policies and proceduresDo everything reasonable to ensure the health and safety of the workers under their supervisionInform workers of any known workplace hazards and existing controls to mitigate the riskInvolve the workers in the hazard identification and control process for that siteEnsure all workers under their direction are: adequately trained in the given task, knowledgeable of the equipment and effectively supervised throughout the jobMaintain regular safety communication with workers and observe safe work practicesNotify management and participate in the investigation process when an incident or imminent danger report occurs on their siteRequired Qualifications:3+ years sales, account management experienceExtensive knowledge of Industrial safety equipment and service is an assetBusiness degree or equivalent trainingExperience selling multiple product/service lines.Able to effectively communicate key information to all audiences.Strong consultative skills.Skilled at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions.Experience working with BPMStrong relationship and communications skills
