Job Description

AC Metal Fabricating is currently looking for an Estimator to join the team and help with the continued development and growth of the company.Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of work to be estimated by gathering proposal documentation such as; blueprints, specifications and other related documents.
  • Provide identification in proposal for required labor, material and time requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Presentation of prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical data.
  • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
  • Close consultation with the client in accordance with corporate standards
  • Assist Project Managers with purchasing in accordance to allow figures used within estimates.
Qualifications:
  • Required 8–15 years of experience in an estimating role in the Structural Steel or fabrication industry.
  • Direct experience with steel processing with an understanding on metal fabrication and installation methods.
  • AutoCAD and Tekla Structures skills would be additional strong assets taken into consideration.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to implement and follow related corporate policies and procedures.
This successful candidate will work on a salary to be determined at time of hire which will be determined following interview processes.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
