There are many reasons to join Olds College and build a meaningful career in a community that is innovative, diverse and welcoming.The OpportunityReporting to the Chief of Staff and Director, Executive Operations, the Executive Business Partner facilitates the flow in the Presidents Office to ensure the effective and timely turnover of information to and from departments as well as a first point of contact for the public and community members contacting Olds College executive members. This position works closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to understand ongoing strategic and operational needs to ensure the required support is available to fulfill the Departments’’ commitments and to carry out the strategic priorities of the College.KEY AREAS Of RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline; a Bachelor’s degree would be a definite asset
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience at a senior administrative level
  • Policy Governance © certification with 3 year’s experience supporting a Policy Governance Board
  • Ability to work autonomously, adapt to multiple competing priorities and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver results on time and to ensure participation and contribution from individuals not directly supervised
  • Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to individuals at all levels with poise and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated accountability, initiative, creativity and focus in a rapidly changing environment
  • Expert planning, coordination and organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility with broad and diverse constituencies within a complex organization based upon integrity, critical thinking, outstanding operational performance, customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness and clarity of verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of Alberta post-secondary system, structures and processes
  • Superior level of expertise with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as the Google Platform
