Job Description

The Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand.

  • Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program, including all Food Safety standards in the Meat Department, and promoting a culture of safety
  • Providing a World Class Guest Experience to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto
  • Following Best Practice in the Meat Department
  • Adhering to and completing Proper and Safe Meat Cutting procedures/techniques
  • Preparation and merchandising of product including cutting, grinding, wrapping and traying of product
  • Loading and unloading, and receiving of merchandise
  • Maintaining day to day image standards and cleanliness
  • This position will work collaboratively with the Team Leader and support other Team Members as needed
  • Opening and closing responsibilities
  • Work at our Olds and Carstairs Food Store locations as required
  • Other projects and assignments as required
The hours for this position will depend on operational requirements including morning, afternoon, evenings, and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be able to travel to our Carstairs Food Store Location to support as required.We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following:
