Aspenleaf Energy Limited (ALE) is a private oil and gas exploration and production company that is pursuing an acquisition and exploitation strategy in western Canada. The company is focused on light oil and liquids-rich gas opportunities and is led by a team of seasoned industry professionals with extensive acquisition and operations experience.ALE is currently recruiting for a Lead Operator in the Twining area. This is a contract position.Key Guiding Responsibilities· Provide guidance for safe and efficient operations compliant with ALE’s HSE program· Adhere to all applicable regulations set out by various governing bodies· Close collaboration with Cross Shift working towards a common set of goals is vital· Maintain a positive team attitude and foster good morale with all personnelTasks (including but not limited to)· Operational Reporting – Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reporting/checks are completed· New Well Start-ups· Production/Injection well surveillance and troubleshooting· Well Test Monitoring and daily optimization· Facility/Pipeline upset support· Operations training/mentoring ensuring SOP’s sign off· Facility Turn around planning involvement· Facility Handovers· Monthly/ quarterly/ annual maintenance and compliance checks· Chemical program surveillancePosition Description· Reports directly to the TW Superintendent· Shift is 8 on, 6 off, 10-hour days, overtime eligible in emergency situations· Primarily field-based position· On call during shift and relief situations· Must reside within 1 hour of Twining areaQualifications/Skillset· Grade 12 Diploma· Class 5 Drivers license· Effective communicator and team player· Knowledge of Programs including Microsoft Office, Prodview, Roughneck· 10+ years of Field and Battery Operating Experience· Leadership experience an assetJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $1.00-$2.00 per hourSchedule:
