Job Description

Overview:Reporting to the team lead of the processing moisture team, the succesful candidate will be a processing technician working primarily with the moisture team.Scope of Role:

  • Prepare the rooms for production activities (cleaning and setting up equipment such as lights and tables)
  • Attention to detail overseeing the drying, curing and bulk packaging of harvested cannabis.
  • Data analyzation (this is a very data heavy position)
  • Manual labor includnig long periods of sitting/standing, bending, lifting and walking.
  • Transport of cannabis using a cart between production environments in a sanitary fashion.
  • Accurately document all work performed as directed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Participate in processing sanitation of production ooms, including appropriate disposal of plant materials.
  • Monitor and participate in various production activities.
  • Re-stock and organize production area as required.
  • Willingness to maintain an open mind and learn new techniques.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Post-secondary certification/diploma/degree in horticulture or plant sciences is an asset.
Required Competencies:
  • Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality and teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time along with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with strong attention to detail
  • Capableof following strict processes and procedures, with the ability to work with minimal supervision quickly and accurately
  • Experience working within a highly-regulated enironment
  • Flexible to work in other areas of harvest and trim
  • Computer skills with experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word is an asset
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and neatly

  • 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Olds, AB T4H 1V1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
