Job Description

The CompanyGrowers Supply Company Limited, a long established supplier of agricultural and irrigation products, is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for a full-time seasonal Counter Sales Rep position at our Oliver location, with the willingness to provide coverage at the Penticton location as needed.The Counter Sales role handles all sales functions in a professional and friendly manner for customers by providing prompt and efficient service to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction.The Role

  • Welcomes customers and directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items;
  • Advises customers by providing information on products in person, over the phone, and email;
  • Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records;
  • Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards;
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments;
  • Accurately process orders, quotes and returns;
  • Receive, unpack, and stock inventory, reorder and replenish;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
The Candidate
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Possess strong sales skills;
  • Good written, verbal, and computer skills;
  • A team player who works well in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proven aptitude in problem solving;
  • Industry related experience is an asset;
  • Willing to travel to other locations if needed;
